DDM-2001 Advantages

1. Detection of small quantity of dust

Measurement of the scattering of light reflected on particles; a small quantity of dust can be measured with high sensitivity.

2. Elimination of deviation of light axis

The detector is installed only at one place, providing the following merits as compared with the conventional permeation type detectors. - Making holes at 2 places for light sending and receiving is not required. - Deviation of light axis due to thermal distortion can be eliminated.

3. Easy maintenance

The main bidy is separated from the detector, providing the following merits. - Temperature effects to the main body can be minimized. - The adoption of unique purging system to the detector glass offers maintenance-free operation.

4. Accurate measurement

The signal processing circuit in the main body uses a synchronous detecting system utilizing a light of steady cycle, thereby eliminating effects from other light sources.

5. Span and auto-zero adjustments during operation

The detector is of pressure sealed type, allowing span adjustment with the detector by removing the optical fiber cable, even while the plant is under operation. Zero point is automatically adjusted at regular intervals through management of CPU. During adjustment, the previously measured value is retained to prevent the occurrence of alarm from the receiving instrument.

6. Various Output Signals

RS-232C port should be used. O2 convert output (option) Moving average output (option).

7. Low running cost

Expendable parts are limited to lamps and motor alone which are available from the market at low prices.

8. No selection of installation location

This system can be installed at any place, even in a place where the chimney is high in temperature, a place where the process pressure is high, a place where the purging air cannot be used, etc.
